does anyone know where the moon dial on the clock should be today

If you are asking about the moon phase - Today, 3-1-2018 Waxing Gibbous, 100% illumination. Tomorrow, 3-2-2018 Full Moon, 100% illumination.

Just be careful. The ones i have set they got set with the movement
around 10 pm. You want to advance the moon phase one click at a time
and NEVER try to turn it backwards. Had it set to just about midnight
full moon. Then you advance the hands to midnight and things should
click. Read the instructions if ya have them. Remember it is every 28
days. Once you get it set they are pretty neat. The other one to set
is one of those tideal clocks. Talk about fussy. Can't see the moon
tonight. Rain.

Ok so if tommorw is full moon then he should follow my instructions and set everything a coulple of hours before midnight. Then you slowly advance things till midnight and the phase and chime should all click in together. Then just wiat till midnight and start the clock. Not too hard but you sure can break stuff if you try to strong arm it. Remember these things only go ONE way. Just for giggles, double check it the next full moon at midnight. That was a fun exercise.

I guess technically the full moon is on the first of March for most of the world because it is at March 2, 00:51 UTC, less than one hour after midnight so every other time zone would still be on the first. Getting kind of picky aren't I?
