I have those and about 998 more Case tractors and implements. A lot of the tractors that you see in these pics., you won't see any where else. I scratch built them, or customized them to my liking.

I'd sure like to have that 1200. My uncle bought one of those new. He had a 4100 IH first. Got it over the winter one year but never took it to the field. Next thing I knew,he had that 1200 instead. I never did know the story behind why he switched.
 
That 1200 is one that I scratch built. Frame is brass stock from hardware store. The motor and tranny are hand carved from a balsa block, and axles are key stock, pull bottles for differentials and the axle trunions for steering are made from brass 90s like used on a carburetor. I build from my goodie drawers out in the shop. Tires and wheels came from a hobby shop, and other things from Dakota Toys.
The last pic is a steel frame that I built and never went any further with it.
I got involved with customizing real Case tractors. HeHe.
PS sorry about the dust, but I'm sure you know that toys are magnets for dust.

NICE! Didn't somebody come out with a short run of those? Seems like I've seen other ones at shows or someplace.

Amazing work, both in miniature and real size. And I just wasted two and a half more hours sitting at this computer.
 
Ok,ya. Some day I'll come across one when I have some money burning a hole in my pocket. Hopefully. I actually remember sitting on that tractor at the dealer before my uncle bought it,so they've got a special place in my heart.
