Thats one hefty looking IH,,,Mine says 1506?But it doesnt look as hefty as yours,I dont know much about IH,,Maybe someone can tell us?

i think yours should be 1586? they were built from 1976-81. the 1206 built from 1965-67 after the 06 series came the 66 series then the 86 series.

Close. Farmall started with the 00, then 50 and 60 series between 1955 and 59. Then came the 06, 56, 66, 86 and 88 in the 60's till the end of IH in 85.

The tractor that Larry has is an 86 series, not a 06. Biggest 06 was the 12.

I have one, a 1206. Needs some TLC. That's a 6601 JD combine.

For what it's worth the model that the picture posted is the Wheatland model of the 1206. It sold as an International Harvester.

If anybody just feels like they HAVE to have a model international tractor let me know. I just ran down in the basement and snapped a quick one. I have I think around 20 still in the original box . Pretty much if Ertel made it in the 60 & 70 s I have it.
