Here's the IH crawler that you wanted a picture of. Don't mind the dust. I took a group picture of most of the rest of them that I have too,but I missed a Deere 430 crawler until after I'd put the rest of them away. I took individual pictures of all of them, including the missing 430.

There is a T 340 sitting on my cousins farm. It was junk when he bought and is way beyond junk now. Went at looked at it years ago wanting to buy it till I saw it.

had to get pictures, of our T340's...The red one is one my brother has in his collection. The yellow ended up with the play toys

This is a great post,,thanks,,I sure like that yellow dozer,,I would have liked to have a real one of those the around the farm in real life too!

I have to agree with Richard. Dad was an IH dealer when those things came out. They were the most problematic thing ever developed. Might have been fine for spreading loose gravel but folks tried digging trees out of fence rows and they shelled finals all time. Still see a few around but they sure do not bring much and most are just setting somewhere.

IH marketed the T/TD 4 and 5 and 340 starting in 1959 with production of the 340 running through 1965. Some of the options included 3 point hitch, PTO, blade and loader. I think that undercarriage parts are just plain not available.

They were mostly marketed to farmers which is why they looked like the "new 60 series" . I remember seeing ads for them in the farm rags my dad got when we lived in NJ back in the 60's.

They were also available in a orchard model and wide track. Kinda rare today making a running one worth more than say an old Cat D2 or 4 (I have a Cat D4 7U, serial # 18).
