keeping my tractor warm

This has nothing to do with tractors really. I keep my farmall super mta in my unheated shop and have picked up a beautiful old Jungers 2 burner stove that I would like to heat the shop with just for fun. Looking for any literature or knowledge that anyone may have on these old heaters.

make sure the pots are not rusted out and the control is not all gummed up with crud and the float is good and it should be good to go . just do a good cleaning

Those are good old heaters, the first year we were married we rented a house that had one, course we didn't need a lot of extra heat! They do work the best with Kerosene, and that is very expensive, but I think they will work on #1.

The second house that we owned came with one in the kitchen. We used it for a few years, but it seemed that once every year it would flood and make a lot of soot. I heat my shop with a wall mount catalytic propane unit. My shop is 16 x22 x10, and I keep it at 50 degrees, then bump it up to 60 when I go out there. I burn just 200 gal per year, here in NH.
