Put electronic ignition wires
plugs coil resistor cleaned
carb.still runs for a few
minutes then dies.sit for a
minute starts back up.if 12
volts isn't always supplied to
coil will that shut it
down.stumped .jim
 
You previously posted about this issue on the "Farmall Forum", and a couple of us tried to help you, with no reply from you.

You've apparently given up on us (without the courtesy of a reply), and smuggled your problem over to this Forum.

You need to tell us (as I replied before) if it's actually losing spark when it quits running and coasts to a stop.

You ask "if 12 volts isn't always supplied to coil will that shut it down".

OBVIOUSLY the ignition can't make a spark if the power supply to it is interrupted. "12 Volts" is "nominal", when the engine is running the voltage ahead of the ignition resistor (which you say you have) is probably around 14.5 Volts. My advise,in addition to checking the spark as it dies is to monitor the voltage supplied to the coil while it's running well, while it's dying,and after it stops.
