Dad had 3 antiques one of which is the 2N. I was considering selling it if it would bring enough to use as seed money to start a bursary fund in my sisters name as a Memorial to her at the high school we both attended. I don't need all 3 to remember him ,we donate a day a year to work the land the local tractor club plants beans on as memory to dad using our equipment fuel and time, but I'd really like to do this for her as she was an under grad when she died as a result of an impaired driver. Thanks for any input.

Where I'm at out west 2000 to 3000 is what seems the going price different parts of the country are different sorry for your loss

Your sister was a beautiful girl, sorry for your loss.
N series tractors don't bring much in my part of Michigan.
The 9N/2N tractors actually bring more painted like an 8N.
People just "expect" them to be that way I guess.
A completely restored one with rebuilt engine and all might
bring $2500 here unless it was a restored war model or very
early 9N. Its different in different parts of the country though,
so your general location might get you a better estimate.

I don't know the value of a 2n but I just wanted to chime in and say that is a wonderful thing your school and tractor club are doing in your community.

Not sure what kind of participation you could get between the tractor club and the high school, but would an auction for the cause possibly bring more money?

Sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful young lady!

Maybe sell raffle tickets for a chance to win the tractor. Tell folks what the money is going for and sell the tickets at tractor shows all summer

Thank you all for the input and compliments, she was a beautiful young lady, our daughter looks quite a bit like her (and thankfully not me haha). I'll talk to the tractor club and see if they can help out with either rafflel or auction it off. We're going to use some of our own cash as well. I agree on the values,a tractor has to be really special to justify a complete restoration. Dad spent 5-6 thousand restoring it and we did the tear apart and put back together ourselves. Things once they become for sale only bring what someone is willing to pay.

So sorry for your loss. Mine was in 1963. She almost graduated college.
If you put this on memorial page and open your email I'd sure send a check.

It's very sad to think of the what if's and how their lives could have turned out. Thank you so much for your generosity,I don't feel right accepting monies personally but the bursary will be set up at Westisle Composite High School in Elemsdale PEI Canada.

That's a nice 2N. They don't bring much just stuck out on the side of the road, but I am betting if you publicize the situation and offer it either at auction or by raffle it will bring far more than it is worth. Terrible sad story...young girl passing so young. Sorry for your loss.
