USX 37 grrr...

About how long should I expect the accelerator pump diaphragm to last? Not sure, but I think it gets too stiff and then the tractor stumbles when taking off. Could be other stuff.. I think it's been two years since I changed it.

If the kits are NOS, could be they are already beginning to deteriorate with age.

But another problem, the old neoprene was never intended to be used with ethanol gas.

Never done it, but hear there is a universal Zenith that will replace it.

It's an Oliver 1850. The last one got a pinhole in it and would foul plugs within minutes. I replaced it and swore I had a new tractor. To replace with a zenith is too much money in my opinion. The USX runs excellent after a little fine tuning...then a little more fine tuning..etc. Does anyone sell the diaphragm by itself? Most of the carb kits don't even have it included.
