Not sure why, but it suddenly popped into my head this morning that I had recently posted that I used to have a JD 4020 (http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/viewtopic.php?p=8594118&highlight=#8594118). Thanks to yet another mental lapse on my part, I was in error. It was a 4010. Please accept my apologies.

We had a 4010.. great tractor, but clutches would slip if worked hard. Other than 2 new clutch replacements, no complaints.

A neighbor had a 4010 in the early 60's when our biggest tractor was an Oliver Super 77, I was
about 10 or 12 and thought tractors couldn't get any bigger than that 4010.

I remember when my uncle traded the 88 diesel on a 4010. They brought out a new 1800 and demonstrated it. I remember sitting on Dad's lap whole he plowed a few rounds with it. He ended up going with the 4010. A few years later he bought a 4020 and put a loader on the 4010. He put a turbo on the 4020 and had it putting out 122 horses on the dyno. He put a cab and duals on it. What a beast of a tractor that things was for a few years.

I had an Oliver 1950 back in the 1990s. It sure sounded huge. Guy that lived around on the other side of the mile square block had one also. When they were both in the field, it sure got noisy on that block

Nothing to apologize for from anything I read. Gald you have some pictures of your JD 4010. I have very few pictures over 15 years old as we had a small house fire and the majority of our person photos where destroyed.
