I found a really nice turbo kit for MH44 on eBay, I would do this instead of high compression pistons if doing again.

Easy places to mount injectors too.

I am surprised by the price. Seems cheap since one gets the manifolds ect. Lots of work there. Good thing about it is the back end of those old tractors will stand that kind of HP. If I can find a nice 444 I may try that set up.

David G that is a keystone turbo kit, the owners are franklin, the dad & mark the son, great people to talk with. I contacted about 5 yrs ago and asked if I could buy everything but their manifolds and they said yes, it saved me $1000 at that time, I made my own manifolds. My tractor is a 1958 oliver 880 used for pulling, some places I pull dont let you have a turbo so I take my super 77 which is NA, both olivers run on lp gas. The 880 is only 283 ci with 7.8 cp ratio, i run 15 lbs boost,it make around 160 hp on dyno at 3000 rpm.
