Minneapolis Molene RT1

53 Super A

New User
Hey Guys, I Just picked up this 1949 MM RT 1 Industrial Loader and am looking for as much specific info on the RT1 as possible. I'm told it's a Rare Tractor, only 4,338 total made, some of them were for the Military and some came with the Lull Loader. Made from 1940 to 1953... that makes only about 300 or so made per year! So I'm trying to narrow it down and see just how rare the one I have is before I start dumping money into a full restoration.Any specific info would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to post a Video Link so you can see My tractor up close.
Thanks, DanO'

Try posting down on the MM forum. I bet someone can tell you production numbers there.

Its RTI, not RT1, by the way. I is for industrial.

As far as rarity, about 10 percent of MM R tractors were industrial tractors. Still a nice tractor to have, though.

Are you advertising for parts on Craigslist? The tractor is still for sale on Craigslist so you must have just gotten it. I think I am in your area and my email is open. I have two RTIs one running with the Lull loader and one junker. I don't think I am ready to sell any parts but information would be free. I have an original Lull manual for a similar loader used on the RTI and one for the larger loader used on the UTI. I also have three UTIs one with a Lull loader.

Yes, I just Purchased it From a Local Escavator, I guess he didn't take the ad off of Craigslist. I'd really like to get it up and running again if possible, if Not I may decide part it out. If You're in My area of Wallkill NY 12589, I'd love to come take a look at yours and talk to you. You can contact me by email at [email protected]... Thanks, DanO'
