Trucks , Tractors , and Motorcycles

Few years ago , Ford offered a trim package in the Harley Davidson name. I have seen a few , even know a guy that bought one. the paint , wheels , and interior were all just offered on this truck. So , if John Deer , CaseIH or any other tractor company teamed up with a truck builder, like Ford ,Dodge, or GM, and offered a "Tractor Package " , do you think it would sell ?? Would you buy one ? There must be still more farmers than Motorcycle riders that would pony up the extra cash for this kind of trim package. And a farmer could write this cost away as a normal cost of doing business. Just imagine coming out of the sale barn and there are 20-30 trucks all painted green and trimmed with yellow, might have to remember your plate number.

Just imagine the money Deere would ask for if that option was available.....kinda neat idea though. You better contact Deere with your idea and capitalize on some of the sales potential!

I bought the rebranded john deere 4 wheeler and it was cheaper than I could buy the bombadier branded one and it had more options

Folks ask me all the time if I have an old JD truck. Just happens to be our company colors too . Looks funny on way to tractor shows with a couple old fords!

That's a great idea! Fords had several over the recent years,Eddy Bauer,Cabellas and Foose to name a few I can think of.

Dodge already does it, not sure if you can get them yet or it's next year? The part they are missing is a steel tractor seat with a big spring underneath for the driver...

I bought a pair of "MACK" boots knowing that Mack made the best heavy truck, expecting the boots to be of excellent quality and those were the poorest boots I ever owned. An insult and blasphemy to the Mack name I was afraid to buy a pair of "CATERPILLAR" boots.

From a marketing perspective, I believe that the market would be too small for it to be cost effective for the manufacturer.

I don't know, Ford with the "King Ranch" edition show a lot of heads around here.

The King Ranch is a large spread in S. Tx. noted for their concoctured breed: Santa Gertrudis; bred and registered for the kind of environment that exists at the ranch. You see a few around here, but black is THE breed here in N. TX. and was my breed (⅜ Brahman, ⅝ Aberdeen angus....Brangus).
