MF 180 PTO issues

Hello all,

New to forum but have a question I hope someone can help me with. We recently acquired a MF 180. The PTO will work in ground drive and will engage in "live" however it will only free wheel when engaged. It can't handle any sort of load. Thank you for any assistance you can give me!
 
If tractor has the ground drive PTO position it won't be a hydraulic PTO clutch pack failed as tractor does not have one. Most likely the PTO drive has failed at the flywheel dry PTO clutch disc area, or maybe further back in the drive line.
 
You have a bad PTO clutch at the flywheel. Since the ground drive is working that means the rear drive is fine. So that leaves the engine powered part.
