Can any one tell me about this type u joint? Like how to take it apart. do you replace it with regular type joint I have never had to deal with this type joint before

They are still out there available...

It may disassemble in two ways. You could try driving IN on one of the pins, the center block may be bored enough to allow the pins to push through. The other method is to put it in a vise, and cut through one or two of the pins with a hack saw. More often than not, if you needed to disassemble one of those, it was already broke!

They were somewhat common on forage chopper feed roll drives, truck PTOs, etc. back in the day.

Thank you this is on a older post hole digger it?s been tough but it?s getting loose and one pin is bent a little So your saying just cut the joint where it enters the yoke ? Any ideas as to where to get replacements on line not much left around here for parts thanks

The pin is likely not bent as they are only about 3/4 of an inch long to begin with. Looks like some one has been running it way to tight in the angle by the notch in the one yoke arm.
Should be able to push one side or the other through and on out then the same with the other direction. If not just grease it and use till it comes apart.

Common on forage wagons also. Gehl, Miller, Meyer,H&S, etc.

Any dealer that sells forage wagons should be able to get you a new cross.
