As I look at my "collection" of chain hoists, cherry pickers, jacks of all shapes and sizes, Oak tree
limbs that we used to hand our JD B culitvators on (all day job as I fondly recall, from age 10 or so),
this system seems clear and simple!
Quick diesel engine access

Im trying to wrap my head around what physics happened to launch that engine. Ripping away from the transmission and engine mounts then launching it that far would take a tremendous amount of force. It looks like several events happened at once, several thousand pounds of torque twisting on the engine and a catastrophic separation of engine parts.

When they blow like that they usually the block breaks right at the crankshaft. The bottom stays with the vehicle and the top goes forward because the rules say you have to have a 3/8ths cable wrapped around the engine between no. 1 and two cylinder.---Tee

4 turbos and a few hundred lbs of boost will find the weak spots pretty quick. Guy that pulls NTPA level pro stock discovered that a Deere 8.1 block is good for 3,000 horse and NO MORE. Started making billet blocks.

OK, I looked again and saw the bottoms of the sleeves. I thought the whole engine had launched out of there.
