Computer Windows 10 query

I have a Lenova T61 with an Intel core 2, 2.20 Ghz, 2 gb memory, 64 bit. running a pirated windows 7. Can I install Windows 10 on this? I don't care if it wipes everything, in fact I would prefer it to do so.

The Program might run, but really needs more ram to be usable. I would not spin that bottle. Used computers with 10 installed are cheap, and operational Jim

When I was in that same boat, I decided to jump into Linux Mint. Best choice ever!!
It downloads and installs easily. The site is:
https://linuxmint.com/download_all.php
and choose 17.3 Rosa and on the next screen choose Cinnamon. Cinnamon is most like Windows to navigate.

It won't like the 2Gmem, W10 really likes 4G and the one I'm on typing this has 8G. Get the memory up and it will run it. There are things I like about w10 but recommend staying with w7.

I have had it with Windows - I went to lenux ubuntu and have been real happy with it.

yelp.. its will run just fine.. with 2 gb of mem... Have several of my cpu's doing just that. Most core2s can have the processor swapped out to an E6700 quad core 3.2 ghz cpu and do much better on mutitasking but yours will run okay.

DON'T!
I had a computer upgraded from 7 to 10. Nothing will work correctly with 10. Stay with 7.
Where I bought my used laptop it was on 10. Took it back to him after several tries to get it fixed. ALL the windows 10 are doing the same stuff as mine was.
He just gave me a windows 7 laptop, which is working great. DOUG

You will have to purchase a Windows 10
Activation Key to make it work.

All my computers are dual boot WindowsUbuntu for 10 years. I just select what i want to use on start up. But i NEVER use windows for anything. And i don't have any problems and don't use any anti-virus, and it is free.
