Are Kubota tractor service manuals available anywhere? I am specifically looking for one covering
the model referenced above. Any help appreciated.

Your local KUBOTA dealer.. Anything out there is black market and will be copies , you take your chance on quality.

A few years back the local dealership here closed. They had NH and Kubota. I asked if I could buy the books I needed. They said that the books were property of Kubota. They sent marked shipping containers to send them back in. At the Louisville show I asked a company rep about it. He said Kubota holds the copy rights and the manuals. Maybe that's changed now.

I don't know what happened in my post, but I wanted to say I got my book from my local dealer when we bought the M6060 tractor and loader from them, You might want to check with your local dealer. Keith

Can buy from Kubota. I?ve got the one for my M120 and it?s very good. There is also the Kubota generic WSM available online if you search. Covers most Kubota models.

I have a M4800 that I have a dealer manual and one I brought on line. They are the same thing. If it has a loader you will need a separate manual for it.

That is what prompted my post as I was told same thing a few years back by dealer. However, I will ask them again as it seems that policy must
have changed. I appreciate everyone responding. I had to replace starter in this frigid weather the other day and thinking a block heater would
be good to install. Never failed to start even at -3 this past Tuesday but at that temp she deserves some heat. I looked at the heater on day I
bought starter but didn't buy it. Decided to get one next day but it had been sold. Thought about having them order me one but dealer was not
able to help me determine exactly where it should be installed. Their engine diagram shows two larger "freeze plugs" one on front and one on
back of block. At the same time there are, I believe, ten (10) smaller looking plugs running along side of block. Side install would be an easy fix
but front or back install not so. A manual would be handy as Dealer is an hour away from Farm. Thanks again.

id a quick google search and several that seem to be right popped up. At a glance 19.00 up to I think 300.00. May be the wrong manuals or just copy's but surely worth a look.

Pipestem what Charlie says above is true, a dealer does not even own the service books in his dealership, parts books yes but not service. Now that said KUBOTA will sell one and if you have a good dealer he will sell it to you at cost. Most time it comes down to the local service rep having to say yea go on and sell the man a copy. Your 5030 is a little different an best I remember you are right it does not go in one of those side plugs but goes in the larger rear plug. I know for fact we have installed some in the lower radiator hose. Short about 4 inch long pipe affair that you cut the hose and install. I THINK they are avl at NAPA but you have tor remember your radiator hose is a metric size but think NAPA has something cheaper and easier to install than the OEM from KUBOTA. Hope this helps. I just looked and do not have an extra manual.

Thanks jm. You've verified what I suspected on block heater location and your suggestion on lower radiator hose heater is exactly what I will do.

We have a Kubota M4500 that we bough with 2280 hr son it. I picked up the Workshop Manual (WSM) from Messick"s and the Illustrated Parts Catalogue from Coleman Equipment. They are Kubota publications and they leave a lot to be desired compared to the other shop manuals I have from New Holland and Ford.
