tafe tractor

well I drove a stick up through my radiator yesterday and it has a hole about the size of a quarter. I have a Tafe tractor 45DI and was wondering if a radiator from a Massey Ferguson MF 35 or similar would fit. also has anyone fixed a rad with a hole in it like that.
thanks

Is there a good radiator shop in your area? Not something I'd mess with myself anymore. Dad used to "fix" cores now and then by pulling some fins out with needle nose pliers, bending the damaged tubes over then soldering them, but you'd loose some cooling capacity that way.

I am going to take the rad out tomorrow and get a better look at it and let someone else look at that knows more than me. i doubt its a JB Weld fix thanks for the info

I poked a stick into the radiator of our Massey 35 about 7 years ago while backing up in the woods, I ran over a curved stick with the rear wheel and it spun up and made a couple of punctures in the core. I was able to pinch them shut and solder them well enough to get back to work later that day, but a couple of years later I replaced the whole radiator with a new one when I also replaced the water pump because it began to break fan blades and further damage the radiator. Once I got a new water pump and radiator the tractor's summer overheating went away too, and it has been really nice.
