Trouble finding John Deere 4420 decals!

Hello Forum Folks,

I just recently took over my small family farm where we still use classic equipment for our row crop and cattle operation in southern Indiana. Because we are small and I'm doing this as a hobby I have been attempting to fix up my old equipment and make them lol as good as new. I have a 1980 John Deere 4420 combine that is in good shape but I would really like to freshen it up with paint and decals. My problem is, I have searched far and wide to find a decal set for this combine but am not having any luck. JD Dealership has part numbers but stock is obsolete. I also have contacted some companies who remanufacture decals but they are not willing to take up this model. Would anyone know of anybody in the country who could make a set of decals for this combine? I'm running out of options.

Thanks Joe

Thanks in advance

Sign Language in Monticello, IN. Loren Greenwell. Cell 815-848-4111. Used to be in my hometown in IL, but moved to IN this year. Has made me custom and original decals when new weren't available. He will need pics and sizing.

Check with an auto body shop or a sign painter for an estimate of what it would cost to have someone paint on the trim rather than use decals. The person might need to take a lot of pictures and measurements before the old decals are removed.

3M prints the custom decals that cover buses and semi-trucks, maybe they could make a one off set of decals for you.

May have the local Deere dealer check John Deere obsolete parts.

Another option might be to see if the 7720 decals are still available and simply use part of a 4010/20 kit to rob some numbers from. That or a couple 4440 kits to make-up a kit.
