if you rob parts of your wife's vacuum cleaner to fix your corn planter, you might be a redneck.

well i guess im a redneck........yep. robbed parts of the vac to fix the 4 row corn planter and it worked so well i went to Lowe's and got 3 more so i could fix all 4 rows.

im having to replace the rubber fertilizer hoses and need a spout that goes at ground level. soooooo, i robbed parts off the vacuum cleaner hose..ill post picks if yall want to see

How about sump pump discharge hose, it comes in a couple of sizes, 25 foot lengths. I use it to vacuum out the wood stove, that way I can leave the vacuum outside, but it sure does make an awful howling noise!
 
I robbed drain hose off the washer to put on 4 wheeler exhaust to kill gophers in the ground works great I call it my critter getter😁

I just LOVE flea markets. Picked up a nice big loop of that ribbed
hose used to vacuum your pool. Got it for $18.oo if I remember. Well i
use it for my carped cleaner machine to harvest flower seeds. When I
unrolled the hose it was 50 FEET long! What a deal.
 
On a job one time three brothers were installing the fire protection system. We have worked with them before. To a comment from me about being rednecks (I are one). The reply was "You can't get anymore blue collar and redneck then us". Besides installing sprinkler systems they raise beef cattle and even drive their tractors to a local town for the annual tractor parade. Great guys!
 
That seems to be a trait that all farm kids learned. The ability
to keep running without down time and a trip to the parts
store, or make something work better.
Nowadays that repurposing mentality seems to be a trend
with the ?hipsters?. Now I?m not saying you?re a hipster Jeffcat,
but it does kinda make one look over ones shoulder.
