filler neck repair on super m

Due to the not so fun having to remove the radiator I would fix it in place. One needs to clean the area real good and use a goof flux and acid core solder but it can be done right in places after removing the grill.
To remove the radiator it self you have to remove the grill disassemble the steering shaft so you can remove it then you have to use a long extension and socket to get up to the 2 bolts that hold it on form the bottom of it

by asking the question about the best way to repair, i'd say remove it and take it to a radiator repair shop. they're not that hard to remove.

agree, as the rad shop is the best... but that all depends on your soldering skills also.you will need muratic acid also . not a job for the beginner.

Agreed that radiator shops are good because of the equipment that they have, but they are getting t be extremely rare. It can be done in place as Old said, but if you tell where you are someone may be able to point you to a shop within 200 miles incase DIY doesn't work.
