Tractor Supply ignition switch size

My Ford 4000 hqs a 3/4" hole with two flat sides for the ignition key switch. The TSCO switch is too small, maybe 5/8 or 11/16. They claim it fits all fords up through 1964. What's up? Where can I get a correct switch?

Four cylinder 4000? I bought mine from Steiner, but they're only 40 minutes away. I assume you can get the correct switch from YT as well.

I got mine off ebay: Ignition Key Switch Ford 5610 7610 6610 2000 6600 3000 4000 4110 New Holland from "tractorpartsasap for $6.53 +$6 shipping. Has more than 10 in stock (New obviously). It has the thermostart position for those needing it. I put it in my 3000 which has a separate TS switch but could have wired TS to the new switch. Had it in just a few days

He?d have to invent a time machine first and go
back about ten years or a little more to find a ford
New Holland dealership probably be cheaper to
just go to fiat industrial and see if they might have
one
