New Holland 640 round baler

Am looking at a New Holland for a friend of mine, don't know anything about them. In general are they good balers? This one has the auto wrap. Been in a barn for the last 10 years, probably average less then 60 bales annually for the last 10 years. Don't know history beyond 10 years ago. Just trying to find out about them. Thanks

They are a good enough baler for hay. They can be twine tie or mesh wrap. The key is if it says Autotie it is twine only. IF it has a Bale command monitor that goes with it. It could be a mesh wrap baler. If your friend is going to bale for himself and is not doing many bales a year the NH 640 would work for him.
