The wife and I had boneless chicken breast, broccoli, and Italian bread along with chocolate pudding for dinner tonight. Last night was sirloin, mashed potatoes, and canned corn along with ice cream.

Remember the episode of MASH. Igor the cook made all of that beautiful corn they raised into CREAMED corn? They almost killed him. Sorry I love corn but HATE cream corn. Nooooo thank you.

Oydnar I agree with you. The best corn is made by having the water pot boiling in the field and you lean the corn stalk over and stick the ear into the boiling water with out picking it off the stalk first. That way it is fresh and not 8 hours old.

Had smoked shrimp on Sunday. Peeled and de-veined shrimp, seasoned and smoked with hickory for 40 minutes.
