white 1470 serial number+power steering

Hello, I just bought a white 1470. The serial number on the plate below the steering is 832968 and it clearly says white motor corporation and the model number 1470. When checking tractor data.com, it seems that serial number is impossible... I'm affraid it's not the good model... if you want to check the link it's https://www.kijiji.ca/v-equipement-agricole/lanaudiere/tracteur/1312633989?siteLocale=fr_CA

Also, the power steering doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's only missing power steering fluid. Does somebody know where it is added?

thanks a lot

I have an Oliver 1465 same tractor as the White 1470 think the power steering draws out of the rear. They are pretty good tractors but parts are a lot harder to find than the 1365 Oliver.
Although many parts off an Oliver 1450 will work on the 1465/1470.

I thought there was gonna be a picture of the serial tag on the site, but there's not. What is the number?
The tag on my 1365 says White on it too. So those don't have a belt driven power steering pump like the 1365 does then? Because mine is under the hood, left front, there's a little round tank.

Would have been the Cockshutt version of the Oliver 1465. Serial number 827 287 to 839 487 were 1975s.
