Tractor is a 7000, it's been replaced with an AC 7040 power shift. The 7000 had it's tongue hanging out too much. Photo of the 7040 is on the Harry Ferguson site to tease one of my fellow fergy buddies with..

Rich,Did you post the pictures yourself? Congratulations!! We haven't had enough snow in the last few years to need a machine anywhere near that big. We had about 1/2 in yesterday.

How do you power the blower? I have been wanting to mount one on the front for a few years but never went beyond dreaming.

The square tube sub frame has supports in the center for the drive shaft from the reversing drop gear box on the rear. Will get more photos this week hopefully to show the rear drive.

Finally took the time to transfer the phone pics, did it twice so far so maybe I'll remember how! Will take some photos of the backwards Cockshutt 30 loader tractor soon, that will give you a chuckle..

The one absolutely foolproof method of making sure something DOESN'T happen is to be completely prepared for that very thing to happen! IOW, if I had a rig like that sitting at the ready, we'd never see snow until 20 minutes after I took the blower off, then we'd get 5 feet of "partly cloudy"!!!

I was just going to ask that. A very well engineered rube Goldberg? Let us see those well engineered pictures!

Nice unit ! I have a 7' like it only rear mount on my 300 Farmall. Believe it or not my little tractor will run that blower fine in up to 10 inches. Any more and a lot of stop and go, or if it's wet and heavy. Bet you'll be real happy with it !
