Marvel Schebler carb

This carb is on a White 2-44LL/oliver 550 Industrial tractor. The manual I have says the MS carbs were either a TSX775 or a TSX603. I got the TSX775 carb kit and the main gasket was much too large and the needle valve too long. I then ordered the TSX603 carb kit and the main gasket is much too small and there was no needle or seat in the kit. The parts guy robbed a TSX605 kit he had for a MF135 and so I've now got a needle and seat that measures to be an exact fit. But I still have no gaskets the correct size.

I'm looking for help in getting the correct MS model for this carb.
Thanks

If you have a local O'Reilly's auto parts tore take the carb with you and stop in. The Walker brand kits they sell have 2 or 3 gaskets in them so they will work on a number of different size M/S./ carbs. M/S carbs come in 4 sizes. Small medium large and extra large and the kits I buy will cover small/medium or large and extra large cost is around $20

on the top half of the carb there be a flat spot on the outside back side of the throttle body. That is what # carb you have

Or make one. The material and tools to make simple carb gaskets like Marvel/Schiblers use are cheaper than a kit and you can make a bunch of them in no time. I haven't bought a new kit in years. gm

Yes there is a flat spot on the side of the throttle body facing the air intake but there is no sign of any numbers there.
Here are some other possible numbers : TSX374, TSX755 & TSX811,
but I don't know what their differences are.

I'd like the correct number so I can replace other parts when needed.

The kit I am referring you to has a good many of the parts you will need other then things like the float and jets but those can be had just by the carb size and jet numbers

Old, are you telling me that "Arthur" has come to live with you? I know he's not much help with the little kid scissors I use to cut some of these with. gm

Yes between Arthur and the fact I am left handed and finding left hand stuff is hard to find so yep I now days prefer to buy them. But back In the day I sure did make a lot of gaskets form cereal boxes and case beer boxes
