Unknown belt pulley

I got this belt pulley with a Cockshutt 20 I bought. It is not for it at all. Anybody have any idea what it might be for?

with the single secure bolt I guess it is generic for a powered implement, silage blower, sawmill, feed grinder....

Been trying to figure this one out for years. If I live long enough, I have a plan for it.

Could have been for anything.

Probably cast, outside machined, then left with a starter bore in the hub to be machined to size by the end user.

They were widely used for line shaft factories, all types of power transmission that used flat belts.

I am thinking it is off a buzz saw or such. 50 bucks US plus mailing and it is on the way to you! I am near Ottawa ont.

I would also say line shaft. And I have 2 friends that run machine shops with line shaft.
