My son's cub. And my brother's cub. Son's tractor was $600. Brother's cub was 50,000. Yikes. He bought the airplane in SC several years ago. Flew it to CA following route 66. His wife and kids chased in a rental rv. In CA they took plane apart,put in a container and shipped to Australia. He married an Aussie and has been there for 25 years.

Me too. He took me up in the plane. It's wood and cloth! Cars on road below were going faster than we were! I'm not a fan of flying.
 
I would like to have the red cub. ( nice toy) ive got the yellow cub in the back of the hangar. ( along with boat f20 snowmobile motor cycles and on and on. I just love flying. Bob
 
My brother got his piolet license as soon as he was old enough. He loves flying. Went to school as a A&P mechanic. When he moved to Australia he got a job at the Temora aviation museum and worked his way up to ceo. Last year he stepped aside and is now managing his boss's fleet of corporate jets. The cub is his dream toy. He also has a Piper Lance. grass strip and hanger at his farm....... maybe I should have moved down under??!! Lol. Google the museum. It's pretty nice. Good collection
