I have a skidloader that I am redoing.. need to get the old gas out of tank.. it has a drain plug on bottom of tank BUT>>>BUT.. since on bottom it has basically been ground down to nothing from operation. So it has an electric fuel pump.. thought of disconnecting line to carb and pump away??? Or pullhose from the pump and drop in jar and apply air to filler?? other sight said guy used elect leav blower.. what about a gas blower instead??

Siphen doesnt work as I cant get the loader up high enough to get the siphen to work..

Any help..

let it run on the pump I,m not a fan of putting pressure in the tank I know we all do it but all you need is a stactic spark and you have a bomb just my 2 cents

Definitely pump it on low voltage. Someone I know tried powering the electric pump off a battery charger. The pump got running too fast and got hot. I wasn't in the yard when it happened but heard the boom at a distance. He only got a burned belly out of it.

If it will reach far enough into tank try one of these.

I would just get a length of fuel hose, connect it to the existing electric pump outlet, and pump the fuel into appropriate containers.
