John Deere 420 W custom Job Number

I have John Deere 420 W with CJ340? it is a 1958 model 5 speed trans now painted green and yellow. What color should it be and I have two cylinder production record. Gary
 
Much the same as the other 100 million John Deeres that rolled off the production line ..... green and yellow. Your post might be the first one that ever asked that question.
 
My Dad bought a new 420 in 1957. Tricycle front with a 4 row front mount cultivator. Of course it had yellow wheels but the rest of the tractor was green with a black seat. No power steering and a front mount cult.-it was not fun. Later he traded it for a 2010-I think he went backwards on that trade---Tee
 
are you sure that it was a 4 row cultivator? I have a 420 with two row cultivator. not the one that I am posting about.
 
The 1958 420 John Deere I had came from the factory with a green stripe on the side of the hood and the grille
shell. It had the horizontal steering wheel, not slanted.
 
Never had one but acording to sales lit 4 row was avaible for the row crop utilities as well as the row crop with either narrow or wide fronts.
