Finally done tuning and adjusting the new tractor
and put er clothes back on

They look better with their clothes on. I took the fenders and cross box off the Oliver 500 today so I can start patching them up. It was quite a moment of dejavu since the last one sat here for two years with everything off it. At least I can fix this one myself. I've got all the bad stuff cut out of the cross box and have an oversized piece cut to fit it. It just has to be cut down and ground to size.
 
Do you have any pictures of that project ? I?m the worst at taking the tin off and never getting it put back on had the cowl off the 4020 for about 2 years now
 
I haven't taken any today. I took a few that other day after I got the orchard fenders off,but all that's left on it now is the hood.

That?s a nice little tractor I?ve only seen a few Oliver?s ever some day maybe I?ll find one to buy

Randy, how far are you going with your body work. If you are intending to get it really smooth, I used a product that I recommend.
 
Here's what I'm working on right now on it. I had this one made for my gasser. A guy who builds hot rods full time across the road from my son's engine shop made it for me. The one I'm working on now is in better shape so I at least have something to work with. I guess if I totally screw it up,I can have him build another one.
