John deer 401 b

Broke bolt off in housing trying to take top cover off. Can't seem to ease it out. Stuck. This is on the john deer 401 b fuel injector pump. Any suggestions ?

Construction pumps are the worst to get apart, the fine dust packs tight in the screw threads. Most need well placed heat to get the screws out, and sometimes even that does not work. I have a steel template made when needed to drill them out, had to use it recently on a JD payloader that works in a cement factory. All three cover screws needed drilled out on that one.

Drilling on a broken bolt in aluminum is a tuff job.. and heating them can be tricky too. If your Lucky enough to keep a drill centered and straight, drill it out till it right for a tap and work it in and out slowly as you reclaim the threads...and I said way easier than it will be done..Darn it
