The original subject was "Re: Char Lynn".

hello;
I have a leaking s101f unit on my wd45. I could use your old broken unit if it does not leak, or I can order a new seal kit but I am not comfortable doing a reseal myself. I could probably use yours and put my good shaft in it. If you would like to get rid of your unit let me know what you have in mind. Like you say, I do not wish to spend much on the old tractor, even if it has been in the family for three generations.

thanks,
Harold SeymourNote--this is reply to old post regarding need for broken shaft for charlynn s101f on wd45

i am posting a link to antopic on the farmall forum. it gives the sizes for the o rings on the torque generator, also the part number from napa for the filter in the ps pump. if you have a restriction on the return line from the torque generator, it will blow the seals out. before disassembly, scribe a line down the torque genney so all the sections remain clocked in the right position. hold it upright gently in a vice, remove the end plate, replace seals, then install the bolts. then flip it over and do the other side. only remove the end caps!,
poke here

Doesn't Eaton still have a kit available for the torque generators, a lot simpler than selecting and buying individual seals.

Harold, welcome to YT! It was nice talking to you on the phone, you sound like a very nice fellow. I guess I took a little extra notice to your post since it mirrored almost exactly the same thing I did to get introduced to YT. I also replied to a archived post about a Charlynn torque generator. I will send you the the info on the seal kit I used via email sometime in the next day or so. I will even post it here in the likelyhood that it will help out other folks as well. Rick

That's info I'd be interested in as well, thanks!
