I agree I wish our "not so intelligent so called leaders" would set it one way or the other & leave it alone. It takes my pee brain too long to adjust to the time change.

I don't see the problem,I have to adjust my routine at least twice every month by more than an hour. There were only two old soreheads that were not at the coffee shop an hour before sunrise this morning. We work year around according to the sun,not the clock.

We actually "sprung ahead"... and trashed DST in advance, yesterday in Tales. LOL

We dislike it. Figure the powers that be - should just pick a time (ANY TIME), and just stick with it year-round.

Falling back is not quite as tough as springing ahead though.

my smoke detector batteries last up to 2 years so i only change them when needed--they chirp when they are low---can you imagine how many good batteries are thrown out each year!

I'm retired, it just adds another thrill to life.

It does effect me in that my family that are overseas, Asia, are now 14 hours different instead of 13. 8am here is 10pm there. They don't do the DST.

May work for you but history has proven that many people die because they take them out when they chirp so that they can get to sleep, then never replace them. Most people would rather throw out a half used battery than lose a home and a loved one, but each to his own I suppose.

As a truck driver I usually have to change twice each week. Once one way and then back the other way. Some people cannot handle it. The other morning in either southeast Tennessee or northwest Georgia, My gps and cellphone clocks disagreed. Usually they self correct. Evidently being on the time zone line confused one of them! The truck clock stays the same unless you change it.
