brakes on a ac5040

i'm new to the forum so pardon me if this has been asked before. how do you get a look at the brake shoes on a ac5040? the peddles stay up good when pressed but the tractor don't want to stop. I've only had it a couple weeks so I don't know how long it's been this way

If I recall brakes are band type, probably need to pull the axle housing on each side. Ask on the AC forum would be best..
