Vintage Voltmeter

Thought some of you might like the voltmeter I found in my cellar entrance. The previous home owner worked for Bell Telephone a long time ago. I was going to try it today as my Oliver 77 generator wasn't charging but after reading YT posts about generators by JohnT and others I touched a wire from - post to Arm on generator and is working now. Thanks to all their input!

I have one from Onan. 1944 model that strapped to your arm. Used it a few times works good. Just have to be careful when you swing your arm.

vtjoe, I was waiting for someone to ask. Positive ground 6 volt system on the Oliver Row Crop 77 gas.
