case on snowblower

A friend told me some cases won't work on snow blower as the tranny goes out if PTO is run in reverse. Is it for models with power shift or any other info?

If you leave the power shift lever in the reverse position while doing stationary pto work, it will harm the power shift. Using the tractor
on a snowblower in reverse does not harm the PS as it is getting lube while moving. That's the simple explanation....Dad ran a power shift
tractor on the blower many seasons. A decal in the tractor and the manual explain the situation.

As long as you are not doing stationary PTO work, like on a silo blower, the RPS34 tranny will be just fine.
