I picked up this old light that says Ford
on the top. It is kerosene or coal oil and
is in excellent condition. It says
Ford..JNO. W. Brown Co...Colunbus,
Oh...Model 110.
Can anyone tell me the story on what it
went on and what it may be worth? Thanks a

I'm not sure if those are exactly the same or not, but my cousin has a set of lights like that on his 1914 Model T. He told me that they were only on the very early Model T's, after that they were a little different. Not sure if it was just the oil cup he was talking about or the whole lamp, but his oil cups were rusted out on the bottom and he was adamant about keeping those same oil cups on it. I know nothing about Model T's, but I do know I had about 10 hours into tinning and shaping the entire bottom of those 2 cups. The one had a bunch of 1/2" sized holes, the other had about a 2" hole in it. Couldn't tell it when I got done, but it really wasn't much fun.
 
What is the model number? Jno made lots of fords "lights" even back before the Model T. However, if this is a steel side light with brass trim and fuel tank for kerosene it was only on the 1913 and 1914 Model T's. Before that the side lights were all brass and in 1915 they went to a round lens on an all steel unit. Quite a good find all in all.

Not many people playing with Model T's anymore. Seems time takes the people who cared and younger people don't care.
 
The Model is 110. It looks like from what I can find is that it does indeed fit the 1913 and 1914 T's. It has brass top and metal sides with square glass. All the glass is good. Thanks to all for the help.
