Ajusting injector pump

The original subject was "Re: Ajusting injector pump".

So what was the final fix for this problem?? Mine has the exact same issue. Really hard to start at 50 degrees, never mind when it gets really cold. One cylinder, then maybe 2, then it might catch all 3. Smokes me right out!!

I have glow plugs and a block heater but she is still very temperamental.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
What kind of tractor? If an IH 460(D236) or 560(d282) that's just the way they are.May not be a single thing 'wrong'.That's just the nature of the beast.A lot of older diesels with lower compression do that.....Other tractor brands can have that issue,too.
 
I have found that on a few old diesels. Kinda like us old guys. Gripe and complain about getting going. But once started ran all day. I knew an old DNX Hercules that was that way.
