Today's pictures; some of them

I have been working my way through the territory I take care of, mowing the roadsides along the gravel roads before winter. About 75 miles of roadsides to mow on the gravel roads in my territory. About the same for paved roads, but I mowed them about a month ago. It's been real wet and dreary here lately in MI. Got 3" of rain a week ago, and has been raining for 2 days straight currently, and when I checked a couple hours ago, I was at 3.4 inches. Still raining. Anyway, I ran over a beer bottle I didn't see when mowing today, flattened a steer tire, but I think it's fixable. It rolled off the bead when I backed it up out of the ditch to where we could get a jack under it where it wasn't setting in water. I also saw this little Maple that stuck out to me, it's about the most colorful tree I've seen in this dreary, colorless fall. Pic 2 and 3 are the before and after of the same road. I just have a side mount mower, not an arm mower that can reach out there. The arm mower is back at the dealer (again) for warranty work. The last 2 pictures are of the same spot on the same road a week apart, the last one taken yesterday. Been very hard to get things mowed back as wet as it has been lately.

This is in Gratiot Cty, a little ways from Sheridan. I was using our new (POS) side arm mower last year, and it broke, and since all of the other mowers were being used as well, I never finished mine. The new mower has been terrible, the longest it's run without going back for warranty is a week and a half. It seems every time it goes back, it's there for 2 weeks. On the other hand, the side mount Tiger I'm using just keeps on truckin'. Amazing what happens in one year if you can't get it cut back.

That 4th pic........WOW!!!!!! That's the kind of scenery that'll keep me in the country for the rest of my days!!

Thanks for posting these pics Ross. Hopefully you'll get the bugs worked out of that new mower by next years cutting season.

My Grandparents lived in Gratiot. The Millers in Riverdale on Ferris rd and the Reicherts on Winnans. That brings back some memories.

That little Maple is pretty Ross. The rest is Green and Yellow. ICK!
I'm sure you know I'm kidding. Hope things turn better for you shortly!

I may end up getting to keep and use that back blade.
Appreciate you loading it up for me. :)

I ended up with 4.5 inches. That's on top of the 3.5 ten days to two weeks ago and .75 the week before that. Everything's gonna be at a standstill for quite a while.

Hank it's a 6330, probably 4 or 5 years old now. It's been an "ok" tractor, but that's about it. It seems to have and have had a lot of electrical issues. The Tiger mower mounted on it however, has never let us down.

I'll bet I'm right in that ballpark too. Glad I got what little ripped that I did before it rained. We'll see how long this takes to dry off

That JD thankfully is not mine. I don't
think I'd own one like it. It's not been
the most reliable thing. It has 2500 hours,
but it started having electrical issues of
many diffent faces after about 750 hours.
No problem loading the blade up for you, I
wouldn't expect someone to lift something
like that. I need to get that 550 out too,
maybe that'd look good at your house too
lol.

Ferris Rd/Riverdale are also in the territory I take care of. Basically a township and a quarter of another township, and a little of another. Small world lol
