John Deere 127 picker

would a John Deere 127 corn picker work very well on 30 inch corn rows? used my 120 picker yesterday and it worked great but you can't haul it way to wide Thanks Howard

Your left tractor tire would be running down the next row. Measure from the center of the snapping rolls to see how far out 30" comes to acording to your tire now measure out 40" and se where that is, those figures are where your next row would be at. As you will see there is only a very few inches tire clearance to where the 40" row that the picker was designed for would be and see what you woud have with a ror 30" from those snapping rolls. Had the 2 row version the 227 and could not do 38" rows because of running down the next row.
