Thanks again for all the good suggestions to my earlier post. Because the carb was so gummy I opened the hole a little and flushed carb cleaner in in. Quite a bit of
thick gunk came out. then i put it under a heat lamp for about 4 or 5 hours. Finally it quit gassing. I scrubbed it with steel wool and wioped with carb cleaner. This
morning I was ready to try the JB. It was in teh upper 40's iin teh shop so i brought it in and mixed up some JB. Of course I got bubbkles of JB as the tank warmed iin
teh house. this afternoon it seems equalized and seems to be working.
