been running hard last ten days, about 170 hrs yesterday it rained enough to stop me at 12:00, fixed a couple things on combine, empyed trucks, finish drying corn done chores early went to the house got cleaned up went to bed at 6:00 pm just got up at 9:00 am cant take it like I used to, not much rain be back at it tomorrow

Good you're getting a day of rest. Wishing you a safe harvest season.

We rent-out our land now... Once he got to his upper 40's, my husband couldn't take working 10-hour days at the factory 5-6 days per week then farming on top of that.

Good job! I'm glad harvest is going well.

Be extra extra careful when you are worn out. Accidents and injuries seem to happen more often when people are overly tired, in a rush or both. Accidents and injuries are much bigger setbacks than taking timely breaks or stopping for the day when we're tired.
