Supposed to be clearing a fence line and installing some rail fence for a family. Well they decided that they needed some dirt delivered before we got fence in. They got 11 loads and asked if I could spread it. I jokingly said sure ,$29.99 per load. Well he paid it. Almost felt bad. Only took about 3 hours total. Had one load on Friday in front of barn ,then 6 delivered over weekend,I spread them Mon am,then 4 more Mon pm. Fellow was impressed a what the old Ford could do. I'm hoping to sell him the 640 we have been working on . City folk in over their heads. Got em a little piece of property ,and 3 mini horses, then realized they needed it fenced in. Then they realized 1500 ft gravel driveway needs boxblading. Takes a long time to cut 5 acres of pasture with a small riding mower. We told em supposed to have tropical rains come through this weekend and they needed to cover up the dirt with hay or straw ,they wanted to plant grass seed first,so she goes to co-op and comes back with about 3 cups of seed. I had to laugh. Neighbor brought 2 old round bales of mulch hay. Homeowners didn't know what to do with em so my wife and I spread it for em. Ugggg. Maybe we will finish that fence tomorrow. Lol. They in mid to late 50's want to settle down near grandkids, have been full time RV ers for many years. In for a surprise about home ownership.
