Crawler-tractor wood pulling 2017.

Still getting wood from the 400 acres that the fellow allowed us to get from his ground. The boys helped me get on the crawler so I could earn my keep for the day lol.At age 82 going on 83 and legs and fingers going because of neuropathy which is miserable to contend with but I will persevere, wont give up with out a fight!!!.Was great fun to operate the crawler again.Logs had to be cut in 16 foot lengths to load on two trailers, farm trailer and #2 son's small equipment trailer. Is some huge logs to pull and my Son Victor did the loading on both trailers. One load to us and 2nd load to Bob and daughters home, Victor worked on the Bobcat yesterday and again today replacing leaking hydraulic hoses on the right side, going to do it again on the left side later on this winter. Darned expensive to replace and a job fishing them through the arms. The hoses were original since it was built.Tomorrow it's another project hooking up other daughters outdoor
wood boiler.Well someone here asked to see the pixs of me on the crawler so thought I would do it.The video is on Youtube. Hope it comes out O.K. Warmest regards Lou & Victor.

Lou It was I that asked for the photos of you and the crawler. Glad you got to spend the day and also glad that you are hanging in there and refuse to give up. Just be careful and do not get hurt. Warmest regards and glad to see the little crawler you worked so hard on is still holding up.

Looks like you and your boys have a great time together, thanks for the pics. If you keep on doing the things you enjoy and spend time with the ppl you enjoy--well, that's really all that matters.

WOW! Thanks for the pics! And I must say, you look mighty comfy sittin' up there, too!! Sounds like a lot of work, but working has always been my way to relax, and relaxing was fun, so looks like you're havin' tremendous fun! *lol*

Well Lou, That is a pretty nice looking all terrain power wheel chair you have there. It is great that the boys can help you get out in the woods and allow you to do things you love.
I drug out and blocked the last of the firewood logs yesterday, and plan to split and load them today. After stacking the load away tomorrow, I will be done for this year. 28 plus cord of wood under roof.
My son and I were up in the wood lot Monday, in his Polaris Ranger and we saw one of the biggest bucks that I have seen in many a year.
Hope your firewood season continues well for you and family.
Loren
