I don't know, but it looks like a lot of those tractors went pretty cheap. Especially the W111. Maybe they were stuck or something, but looks cheap. I know the price is dropping bad, but that's a lot!! Thanks for the pictures = Bob

A rear mounted loader. Forgot the correct name for it. They used them loading off maure piles etc.

Hope this helps

Like others have indicated, I'm guessing that a lot of the buyers went home quite happy. Thanks for the report.

I'm also guessing that the auctioneer wasn't too thrilled about a "no sale" item selling privately right after the auction. Unless some arrangement was made he would have lost out on around $500 of commission. This happened at a local consignment sale a few years ago with a combine and the auctioneer was understandably upset.

How would he know, don't blab about it in front of him and when the tractor leaves he has no idea where the thing is getting unloaded

I think that there was a consignment or no sale fee....The auctioneer told what the seller wanted and that it was up to you to work out a deal with him..I think that most of the buyers were happy...I left both the checkbook and trailer at home..

Model # 26 and they were called a rear mounted loader. They also sold a dirt bucket for them.
I have one just like that one pictured.

Would you possibly be the person that had one that I came over to see several years ago as my Grandpa had one before I was born. I don't know when they got rid of it but the tractor a 38G that he had it mounted on my uncle traded on a WD Allis and loader when they came out. I have since gotten a operators manual.

I'm pretty sure that it was you who came over and also brought me a copy of the sales literature. That has been a long time ago !
