Napa Oil Sale

I went to Napa yesterday to get some oil.
Going to be a nice weekend so figured I would change the oil in everything around here.
Guy at store tells me he would wait to next week because they will be having a sale on the store label oil made by Valvoline for the month of Oct.
Full Synthetic will be $2.99 a quart and Conventional will be $2.29 a quart.

Considering that full synthetic price is almost half the price I left empty handed and will go get some tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up on the oil. They had an oil filter sale a few months ago and I could get their Gold filters for $3.79 each, I believe. I'll look into it next week when I go back to work. Been on vacation this week, working on the kitchen, putting in new cabinets and our first dishwasher. I'd rather take a beating with a brick stick (Jeff Foxworthy quip) I believe.

That reminds me, I need to have a heart to heart with my NAPA manager. They were the first account I opened,43 years ago.
Went in to get a hyd. filter couple of weeks ago $67 I said nope, got it online for $37.

Went in to get a fan belt for a friends boat that was staying with us $23, I told the kid behind the counter to forget the account, I'm just a guy off of the street, $18, gonna do some chewing me think's.
Their oil and filter sales are good though.
