Saw the fields

Couple of days ago in SJ these fields are along RT-206. One bean field was very dry looking and almost ready to combine. First picture. Then the next couple of fields are mixes of yellow and green or straight yellow, and then there are fields of beens that are green as can be. Now there is one field of corn that looks about 1/2 dryed out. Yet there are others that are again just as green as green can be. They are picking the pumpkins like crazy.

Same here in central NY. Spring was coming along nicely, then about April 21 we had near record flooding. That set the tone for the year. Most crops here planted in June. We've had a couple flood events since. Corn is finally being chopped. A few beans are ready.

In my area of East Central Ohio some guys are running beans and starting on corn. It's been very dry, no real rain since early Sept.

Same here. Not much green anywhere. Beans are coming off. I'd hate to be harvesting dry edible beans right now. I'll bet they're splitting like crazy being this dry.

Here in Kansas, the early beans are done and are being cut while the late beans, plated after the wheat was cut, are still very green.
