Hay Stack Retriever

I have been putting up small bales of oat, grass, and alfalfa hay for the last 7 years, and each year I add something new that makes life easier. I have a New Holland 575 baler and stack with a Super 1048 bale wagon. I have the possibility of picking up some extra alfalfa ground and want to figure out a way to make our hay easier to deliver locally. People sometimes struggle lining up help, and or a trailer etc... Anyway I was thinking about getting a stack retriever. I haven't been around them so I don't have any experience with them. The 575 baler makes 14 x 18 bales. I'm a one man show and using a stack retriever to drop off a load of hay seems like a slick way to make things easier. Do stack retrievers work okay on small bales? Any suggestions or wisdom would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Retrever trucks are common out here in CA. I have only seen them used with 3 string bales so I don't know how they would work with smaller bales. I get a kick out of the guy that hauls them, he wears sandals.

I have never been around them but there's a few of them around Pueblo Colorado and they use them on 2 sting bales.
